Got up somewhat early to make truffles for Caroline [ed: was her birthday]. She was pleased. LAST DAY IN UNIFORM - EVER! I've been wearing the same uniform for 11 years and now ITS [sic] OVER! Everyone was signing shirts - I had one for the staff and one for the pupils. In Latin, Mrs Watson bought us this gorgeous chocolate cake [ed: priorities have not changed much] from Waitrose. It was lovely! Claire was away - well, we did find out yesterday that she was rushed into hospital with acute appendicitis. Visited her in hospital with Caroline on the way to TGI Friday's - apparently she's not allowed to do any exams next wekk. Ooops. Got covered in flour by people from "S" [ed: one of the other classes in our year]. Not the worst though - Jenny Hopgood looked as though she'd gone grey! Even Mrs Lovering bought us candy!
Went to TGI Friday's for Caro's birthday - it was excellent. I had...[ed: I refuse to print any more of my incessant ramblings about food!]. We had a great time - Mr and Mrs Gallichan played this game where you had to say "I went to the party and I took...erm..." and then whatever you wanted. If you didn't say "erm" you didn't get in. It took ages for Vicky [ed: Caz's sister] to get it although I got it straight away! Then at the end they gave us about 20 helium balloons on a string because they go down so quickly that they only last one day. We had problems getting them in the car! We breathed in the helium at Caro's house! I had a great time!

Editor's view - I used the exclamation mark way too much. I suppose it has been replaced in my written words now by smiley faces. See Caz - my diary was full of really boring stuff! I will look up a juicy entry for the next one.
